The reason I am not awarding the full 5 stars is because I bought these gowns a couple of years ago and we loved the material they were made of. They were thick and lush and never wear out. The new ones are thin and not as luxurious feeling. They are beautiful and shipping is quick, but just not quite the same.

The Original Clara Nutcracker Christmas Gown™ Short Sleeve in Red

I ordered the Clara Gown in Christmas Red, and it is beautiful and well-made. The gown was much heavier than I expected due to the lining and the under slip sewn into it. I would have ordered white if I knew it had such a thick lining. My granddaughter thought the gown was scratchy on the outside, but the inside was silky soft. She didn't want to sleep in it, but she did wear it Christmas morning for pictures.

Absolutely love it, only slight disappointment is it's a little big. My daughter is 8 and a half, and I ordered the size 8, but I feel it runs a little big. She can still wear it but it's not the fit I think I imagined. It's very pretty though and my daughter loves it!
